Covid: UAE nurses volunteer to support US frontliners : vima

(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) A team of eight nurses from Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi has flown to the US to spend six weeks with caregivers on the front lines of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Nimeh Mahmoud, a nurse on the neurological intensive care team of the Abu Dhabi hospital, said that when she got the call asking whether she would be interested to volunteer in the US, she did not think twice. 'I became a nurse to help people in need and give back to the community. So, when I was told that there was an opportunity to help my colleagues in the US, I could not refuse, she added.
