[cheers and applause] we know them as First Responders and i had the chance to watch firsthand these magnificent people in action in the face of very trying conditions of 50 mileperhour winds they turn back the flames and air force one right nextdoor with president and mrs. Reagan and in this very auditorium. We have a handful of those with us tonight that men and women. [cheers and applause] these men and women literally save the day and in the process save the Reagan Library the Ventura County sheriff commander john riley and speaking of heroes november marks one year since the devastating borderline shooting in tonight we have the widow. [cheers and applause] please stand. [applause] each represents thousands of First Responders, Police Fire Rescue workers and their families who fought back lot one flames not only at Reagan Library but all over Southern California. If you would please join me i want to introduce a special woman who will introduce our special speaker tonight i have no doubt she is known to just about everyone in the audience for her role whether that involved her career as a prosecutor in San Francisco and l. Kimberly guilfoyle. [cheers and applause] thank you so much what an incredible moment. Good evening to you fine citizens to the state of california. [applause] your faces are near and dear to me in this audience this incredible human being you will hear from but it is wonderful to be a part of the American Dream in the first politician who made me feel so inspired was Ronald Reagan the great promise of hope of america and the American Dream. [applause] who would have ever thought that a young little girl growing up in california born and raised in the Mission District in San Francisco the proud daughter of a wonderful mother coming from puerto rico and are proud irishmen coming from the southern part of ireland they met and fell in love in San Francisco and began living their American Dream. [cheers and applause] i have the benefit of incredible education and quality of opportunity in this wonderful country we call america one that i am proud that stands for a flag im proud to stand for our First Responders, military, Law Enforcement a sense of new hope and a beginning we have all had the opportunity to share that and handed on to the next generation and now to be here at the Reagan Library is incredibly powerful and a humbling moment and while at uc davis getting a good education and communication i have the opportunity to write incredible paper on Ronald Reagan a man who filled my heart who literally made me feel there wasnt anything in the world that i could not accomplish because i was a born free american. [applause] Ronald Reagan was an incredible president who didnt see the race or creed or color but human beings were capable of intelligence and love and faith of the tremendous heart of liberty and a desire for freedom and for peace through strength and now my heart swells again with the opportunity to be here to stand a Senior Advisor to the president of the United States donald trump. [cheers and applause] this is the president i feel most embodies that passion that weve all felt from Ronald Reagan people feel alive in joy and hope because like Ronald Reagan trump is someone who did not need the job and is reagan used to say if youre not worried who will get the credit thats the way President Trump is and the way the incredible American Patriot that trump family is about giving back to this country and fighting for each and every one of us. [applause] i have traveled across this incredible bright big amazing country that we call america the United States of america because more unites us than divides us. Amen and President Trump get sat and Ronald Reagan gets that the forgotten man and women to fight by my side was donald trump junior, chief it is the tip of the sphere the spear to fight for his father like Ronald Reagan the family and this exceptional human being that you dont live life on the sidelines you get involved and put skin in the game and fight for what you believe in and for future generations and my father is here and i am reminded of the people we are in the fight with every single day for our freedom and liberty in the first and Second Amendment and all of the things men and women have five and died to preserve to protect our freedom and for the free market. Thank god for the free market and capitalism for an American Family that understands the value to help restore the value of the american dollar with a booming economy lifting every one up. Lowest unemployment for africanamericans and for the veterans in this country women doing better than ever before under this president. [cheers and applause] 47 percent of all new businesses in the United States of america created by hardworking people of color god bless President Trump for that in this family and what they have been able to accomplish. [applause] and the family that asks for nothing back in return but they take it every day nothing stops them or slows them down because they believe it is an honor and a privilege to fight for this country and to connect with the base that understands hardworking people across this country there is no better than donald trump junior. Let me tell you some of those best moments of those staying at his house weather in iowa on the pullout bed or anywhere across this country it is inspirational to see the connectivity how people are transformed together and it is so incredible he has shared this moment the incredible journey and front row seat i am so happy you are here tonight for the president and this incredible country this is everything we all have together to fight for. Thank you for honoring them and supporting them for buying his book and being in a fight with us every step of the way. It gives me great pleasure and great pride to introduce you to someone i have known dearly 14 years. My best friend and champion and a Great American thank you to donald trump junior and his father the trump family america will never be a socialist country. [cheers and applause] ladies and gentlemen donald trump junior. [cheers and applause] thank you. Thank you so much. [cheers and applause] thank you. That is such a better welcome than what we got on the view the other day. [cheers and applause] i had a little fun when we were doing the book signing the men would come through i really like you on the view. [laughter] what the hell were you doing watching the view cracks. [laughter] is just the highlights i wasnt actually watching the view. [laughter] that it is great to be here. Thank you for an incredible introduction kimberly. [applause] i always get in trouble for saying this but everyone make notes. [laughter] we have to have a little fun. [laughter] if the left had their way we could never have fun again. So kimberly thank you for the incredible introduction its always difficult to follow her program link to do it because she is so good. She is so nuanced and much more beautiful than i am. Its always tough to follow that. She can do it all as you saw the other day she can go for the kill that she does it so well you come back for more. [laughter] i am a one trick pony if you need a sledgehammer i am your guy. Thank you so much. It is truly an honor like kimberly Ronald Reagan was one of the true inspirations of my life one of the real people that probably push me toward conservatives them and what he could accomplish in his presidency is a legacy if you would ever live up to. Its an honor to be back. Last time it was a little different maybe the second president ial debate and my father was no longer on the outskirts and he was in the middle. [laughter] they would interview jeb. [laughter] kimberly i call her princess voice of reason this is going to go big she says no. Already . I remember hearing it because i was impressed. It was my father he took a pretty aggressive position in the opening debate immediately the next day jeb was running a commercial running down the streets. [laughter] so he came to that debate and my father was a different response he said jeb thats great prickly bought some energy this time. [laughter] is like a man talking to a little child and we all saw it it was over. I remember when you were here youre getting ready to fall off the stage. [laughter] it was a different form of president ial debate it is great to be back as kimberly said the last few years have been such an incredible roller coaster of emotions and experiences one could only hope may be not just the bad side i could see the amazing side and go all over the country to watch political history unfold and what was the greatest upset in political history. [cheers and applause] not because it should have been but because the deck was stacked. I got to go around Middle America the heart of the country the place that has been gone for so long and it was interesting for me because i have to disclaim everything especially in 2019 but yes i recognize and the son of a billionaire from new york city i am an unlikely conservative im not supposed to be i went to an Ivy League School all those things that doesnt breed conservativism ive spent a lot of time with charlie kirk. [applause] truly the leader of the Young Conservative Movement someone who has gone around college and High School Campuses getting children before they are indoctrinated into the lunacy of the left. [applause] i met charlie on the trail early 2016 a friend said youve got to meet this guy. He knows more than youll ever know hes on College Campuses hes 23 years old i said get out of my office. [laughter] we have no idea what were doin doing. The last thing i need is more people that have no idea what were doing. [laughter] we have a good messenger who can deliver and not afraid of fighting my friend was rather convincing and said give me five minutes at the end they said congratulations you are on my team he is the reason i was speaking at College Campuses in michigan, wisconsin. Those states the other side took for granted and didnt even bother to go to in the last month of 2016 i think we spent 14 days out of 30 in michigan and wisconsin against all odds and experts you know where im going with this. [laughter] like a right no experts in name only. Only because they call themselves experts for decades they just havent been right but we did that and when the results came in it was incredible that for me while i came from a place where that did not resonate with my hobbies like hunting and fishing in the Great Outdoors it took me to the heartland of america and it wasnt the Iowa Caucuses later in their brandnew hunting gear and the token iowan that they met seven minutes earlier. That youre there from iowa you have to have the photo op and then the iowa state police. And it was a different experience. And then they get genuine. Because i actually did those things it is interesting. We did a hunt in iowa giving me out there but i wasnt always an angel but it could have been worse. So the outdoors was such a big part of my life im giving that type of speech and i believe the New York Times said how are you different from the other people here cracks i said thats a good question. How many birds did you see go up today . And she said nine. How many shots did i take hummingbirds are in my bag . No further questions. [applause] but it wasnt just that that formed the basis program wrote the book because after that experience the great and the not so great, i had an interesting life im not supposed to be a conservative i had a mother who escaped communist chuck was a voc yeah perhaps this is why for me in such an honor to be here at the Reagan Library the guy who actually took down the soviet union. [applause] because for me like so many of those on the left espousing the incredible virtues of socialism and communism now its like mainstream pop culture. I have actually experienced it. I have been there. I had a grandfather who was a blue collar technician and he saw the incredible blessings we had in this country and the freedoms that we had all the things we should be so proud of and he said to my father and mother your kids are incredibly blessed but you have to see the other side. They were very involved in my life and from the age of five i went over there every summer between four and six weeks i waited in the bread lines i can assure you is not so glamorous when you are actually doing it. I have a 93 yearold grandmother who was still alive and she is still over there and spend some time with us every year. I get the calls every few weeks she only has cnn leftist Propaganda Networks there is no alternative programming. She calls me. Probably tougher than most of us maybe not as much is our First Responders by the way thank you so much for protecting this place. [applause] but this is a woman who spent her early twenties in the basement of her farm house for a few years hiding from the nazis and a person went through the communist occupation i found it ironic that he speaks czech fluently that the connection to russia. Have you read your history cracks . They will try anything. [laughter] but this lady who has been through a lot will call me in tears because she sees these virtues espouses they are so wonderful and tells me i will do the best grandma imitation that i can do but you dont understand it always sounds so good everything is free but it never works that way. And to hear her voice break with such a big part of raising me and went through so much to watch her daughter live the American Dream she is in tears for fear of her greatgrandchildren. So thats when i see these virtues being brought up in mainstream political conversations, its the other side, right cracks its interesting there are no people who actually live under those systems who are willing to come here they say no we have to bring that right here right now. How many people are there from soviet bloc Eastern Europe . China . Bring it closer to home venezuela, cuba. Millions and millions of people and not one. If the democrats can find anything to Say Something stupid. Just look at the debate. [laughter] [cheers and applause] may see some really dumb stuff they cant find one person who has lived under those systems that will vouch for them here . Doesnt that tell us all we need to know . That was the genesis of the book and for those of you who watched the view you can understand why we named it that. [applause] because today it is just the view. It is only one and if you dont share that one view it is over. You are canceled. I use that example in the book Martina Navratilova an incredible tennis player we knew her growing up. A similar story to my mother escape czechoslovakia she is a lesbian lgbt activist for 35 years before it was cool. A few weeks ago she came out i dont love the notion of trans men and women in competing against in sports but that was her opinion. [applause] i am reasonable i dont care what you do it makes no difference but whe
