CT Music: State's Javier Colon headlines Easterseals drive-i

A Connecticut reality show star will headline a drive-in fundraiser next week.
Javier Colon, a winner on NBC’s “The Voice,” will perform Saturday, April 17, at the first-ever Easterseals drive-in event. The drive-in will be at the 34th Annual Crystal Ball in Farmington.

Held at the Farmington Polo Grounds, the reimagined annual event will feature entertainment, live and silent auctions, a gourmet boxed meal and signature drinks.
Colon is a Connecticut native who was born in Stratford and pursued a degree in music education from The University of Hartford. He is a former member of EmcQ and The Derek Trucks Band. He was the winner on the first season of NBC’s “The Voice.”
