January 20, 2021, by Adrijana Buljan CWind Taiwan has signed an exclusive cooperation agreement with E&Y Electronics, a Taiwanese power cable service provider specialised in cable testing and termination, to develop its cable maintenance services in the Taiwanese offshore wind market. The services under the cooperation agreement include low and high voltage inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) solutions, as well as subsea cable jointing and testing & terminations, which are part of CWind’s package called Complete Cable Care. “Global Marine Group have an extensive track record in Europe delivering subsea power cable repair services. Our Complete Cable Care framework agreements have proactively supported many offshore wind farm owners to reduce their down time during unplanned cable outages and we’re working to transfer this successful experience into delivering similar cable repair solutions for Taiwanese offshore wind farms”, CWind Taiwan said.
