temperatures and demand begin to drop. again, john, some cooler temperatures today, that should definitely help ease demands in some ways. those folks at the command centers will be working in 12-hour shifts every day until thing are back to normal. >> jason, yesterday, you profiled a couple here in new york who had a really tough story, really suffering through the heat in their apartment. a bit of good news, you have an update? >> reporter: that is true, alfred roblero, we found him on the sixth floor. he basically can't afford an air conditioner because he's using the money to put his daughter through school. a good samaritan saw the story. heard about it on cnn, e-mailed cnn, said i want to help, i want to do something. alfred got not one, but two air conditioners, and our cameras were there when it all went down. it happened. and here is alfred's reaction.
