elephants the landscapers. vultures handle waste management, lions population control. every living thing is connected. and there was a time when our species fit nicely into that system. not anymore. i came with dreams of africa and strong feelings about dentists who shoot lions and oil heirs who shoot rhinos and wouldn't it be great if we just left them alone? but reality is a bitch. >> in an ideal world it would be great if every wildlife area in the whole of africa was just tourism. i'd have a smile from this ear to this ear. but sadly, it's not reality. >> kester spends his life moving animals to safety. and he says that poachers, driven by poverty, are winning.
