customers, at least 5.5 million are in florida. the vice president of the largest power company could be coming soon in many places. let's get to sarasota where we find alex. florida power just had a news briefing. what did they tell us? >> reporter: this is a round the clock effort and there is good news. good news made overnight. two million customers having power restored, but that is little comfort to the 5.5 million without power here in florida. we have to make a different station between customers and people. customers are homes and businesses. when we talk about 5.5 million, it is millions more people. the lucky ones will get power back within days or hours. many of them more unfortunate further south from here may have to wait weeks. we have just gotten an update
