if there were issues of employee error. the issues were with the train itself. the black box and certainly they helped determine that. the speed is an issue possibly and the track possibly. defective. there may be wheel defects on the train. these are the issues that certainly will be at the forefront of the ntsb. the black box itself will give all the instrumentation of the train operations including the signals and the brake application and the speed, etc. they will have the basic information they need to make a determination if any of those issues were involved. i think that would be the
