he's reasonable. you know, pushing back on the portrait of him as a sort of -- you know, a mentally unstable leader. i don't know how convincing that -- a single performance like that is going to be. there have been moments when he's shown that side of him in the past. there's been moments when he's given speeches that people have thought were almost statesmanlike, his state of the union, for instance. then he lapses quickly back into the other donald trump. there's a little bit of dr. jekyll and mr. hyde quality. >> i think the thing is yesterday -- i had a different take on that. i think the transparency part of yesterday, david, and i don't know if you agree on this, i thought it was great that he sat there for so long and allowed the cameras to be there.
