i don't know mr. shanahan will enough to have the moral courage to stand up to the boss and say you are going down the wrong path. look, he is the commander in chief. you give him your best advice and counsel and if it's not taken, you only have two choices. you smartly salute and execute it. you do what mattis did and get yourself someone else to execute. the jury is out and we have so see how mr. shanahan does. a large part of running the defense department, a big chunk of that is the programmatic and the business side. it's running the bureaucracy that is the defense department including setting the budge up for the next year or two or three ahead. he has a lot of experience coming from bowing on that and has clearly the educational background. i'm not too worried about his ability to step in the shoes. >> on the issue of the troop
