the iranians want to sell their oil on international markets. they want companies for instance from europe to be able to invest in iran without having to fear the wrath of the united states or american sanctions. in an ideal world, they are saying they want the u.s. to get back into the nuclear agreement. of course we know current trump white house that's not necessarily something that is going to happen anytime soon, at least if you believe the officials in the trump white house. now, as far as that new intelligence is concerned, we haven't heard anything officially from the iranians about claims that are being made. there was an interesting nugget, from iran's ambassador to the un. he said iran is not preparing for any sort of conflict but wants to be prepared in case a conflict starts again. the iranians say they are the ones in a defensive posture, back to what we were saying at the beginning, a lot of potential for miscalculation in this volatile region. >> there sure is.
