euphoria is pretty much over, but i don't understand why there is so much boredom, or lack of excitement about the republican field this year. i mean, come on. if you can't field a candidate that can beat barack obama, with his incredible failure, his record of economic failure over the last two years, then maybe it's just time to fold your political party tent and step aside and let somebody else move in. alison: hold on, maybe that is a little premature. maybe some of the lack luster response that you're sensing is that we know some of these guys. we've seen them before, there is a sense of deja vu. obviously we know former speaker of the house newt grinning rich. mitt romney has taken a stab at this before. maybe it's that. although there are interesting newcomers.
