for congress but the question remains, will they get anything done? the house just passed a bill that would give furloughed federal workers backpay once the shutdown ends. but we still don't know when in the world that will be. molly is joining us live on capitol hill with the latest on the situation. molly? >> there hasn't been a lot of agreement on dlil between democrats and republicans rantly except for today, except for this issue you were just talking about, the house passed a bill as you were saying to pay federal furloughed workers backpay once the government reopens, whenever that is. and democratically controlled senate is expected to follow suit even later today. the vote t in the house was unanimous. 407-0. senate democrats have been opposed to doing anything to deal with the government shutdown piece by piece, but republicans say if they're willing to vote on pay for federal workers, they should be open to passing various house bills that would reopen, for example, the veterans administration, the national
