over 100 points, 800 in a little more than a week. what's going on? >> this could be the final symptom. the world is not doing actually as badly as the united states in a lot of ways. if the stock market goes down, then obama is batting a perfect thousand because that's the one element that people could say well, look, the stock market is doing pretty well, but it's doing well for a lot of artificial reasons. doing well because of low interest rates, artificially low interest rates, basically it's free money, and even i, i'm not a stock person, but a long time ago, about three years ago, when i saw what was happening with money, and certainly how little you get on cds i invested heavily in the stock market and i feel like a great genius but sold a few months ago and said i'm getting out because i don't have confidence in our leadership and we'll see what happens when interest rates go up, it's going to be interesting to sees what happens with the stock market. but -- >> whatever -- >> troubled times.
