joe manchin, who might've been more susceptible to this or you would think, given his reelection is coming up in a big donald trump state, west virginia. he is still a "no" on this. this was more of a rush job than a thorough job. what do you say? >> we have been working on this for months. actually years. there's been work done in a bipartisan way in the house and senate. there has been worked to lead up to the passage of tax reform. when the republicans took the majority in the last election along with the election of donald trump, this was a top priority for us heading into 2017. providing tax relief for everyone in this country. this is a package that is pro-family, pro-economic growth. we have seen stagnant wages. a stagnant economy for way too long. i'm excited about what it means for everybody. more take-home pay, more jobs, bringing jobs all from overseas, and yes, we want to get this done by christmas. >> neil: signed sealed and delivered by christmas.
