didn't have a lot of advice, if you will, for the community. said essentially stay in your home and stay calm. but are they giving you any more indication? you essentially have a man on the loose right now who is capable of gunning down people in a church, killing nine. is he a further possible threat to that community right now or have anything possibly else planned? are you getting anything else from police on that? >> reporter: absolutely, he's a threat to anyone in the community, extremely dangerous, after gunning down nine people this evening or ten. and there are college kids walking around because this is very close to the college of charleston campus, where the shooting took place. and they haven't told people that they have to stay in their homes, so people are out. but there's also a lot of activity police patrolling everywhere and helicopters as well. but as far as we know from the last news conference about 35 minutes ago, still no suspect. there was a guy handcuffed earlier this evening, and he fit the description, but we asked the police chief about that. he said he would not say if that
