plea, that were involved in the plea, but also to the future girls that were injured because he didn't do his job. and he should've done that. that's number one. it was also factually incorrect -- and let me just say one other thing about the indecency. his basic argument was, well, we got the girls a civil settlement. that's what he said and that's what he did. he worked it out so the girls got paid money. he basically treated them like they were some commodity who just wanted money as opposed to justice. i think that's indecent. and it was factually incorrect, and you've put your finger on it, when you're the federal prosecutor, you don't care what the state is doing. i mean, let's just face it. you have the federal government and the resources of the federal government and the fbi behind you. if he thought for one second that the state of florida was not properly advocating for these girls, he would have filed the indictment. if he didn't think he was ready, then he and the fbi would've found more witnesses.
