India is reeling under the second wave of COVID-19 and only 4 per cent of India's total population has been vaccinated so far.

India is reeling under the second wave of COVID-19 and according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), India recorded 72,330 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. India also reported 459 more deaths and another 40,382 hospital discharges in the last 24 hours, as per the health ministry data on Thursday (April 1).
Vaccinations for people above the age of 45 years also began in India on Thursday. People were quite upbeat about the vaccination drive and came in huge numbers to get inoculated.
