DOJ expects to charge at least 100 more in Capitol riot inve

The Department of Justice is expecting to charge at least 100 more people as part of its investigation into the deadly Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. 
Federal prosecutors made the disclosure in a court filing on Friday requesting a 60-day delay in the case against nine alleged Oath Keepers who are charged with conspiracy in connection with the riots.
“The investigation and prosecution of the Capitol Attack will likely be one of the largest in American history, both in terms of the number of defendants prosecuted and the nature and volume of the evidence,” prosecutors wrote.
