Austin FC, the newcomers to MLS in 2021, don’t have any of that to examine. They weren’t a former USL team where we could talk about their performance in a lower league. They aren’t a rebranded team that came from somewhere else where you could just look at their former identity. They’re brand new, with a largely new team.
