Erie County Communtiy Collegek: NAACP, others push for it to

As one oft-discussed location for the Erie County Community College falls out of consideration, a group of local supporters on Monday rallied for the new school to be located in downtown Erie. 
The Erie County Community College Board of Trustees recently declined to bid on Edinboro University of Pennsylvania's Porreco College campus in Millcreek Township after asking EUP officials to extend the deadline for offers on the property. A spokeswoman for Edinboro University told the Erie Times-News that a purchase agreement has been signed for the Porreco property, but that the buyer won't be disclosed until the end of June.
