Family stuck in limbo after getting caught in the middle of Taylor Co. fatal crash

The suspect died in that crash.
Now, nine days later, and the family is still struggling to cope with its aftermath, resulting in serious injuries to the family’s patriarch. Tuesday, they talked about their ordeal with WCTV.
The Desormeaux family had spent months planning a move from their home in Hudson back to East Texas where a retirement home and grandkids were waiting, but instead, they were on U.S. 19 in the wrong place at the wrong time.
