I watch Mitch Mcconnell this morning, i watched numerous people last night, senators and i think were equally well united, they know its a hoax and a witch hunt and a continuation and has been going on for three years. It probably started before i even won the election based on what were finding out with insurance people policy quotes and other things. Its a disgrace. I have one thought, beyond the fisa court, bring to account both parties who just authorized the fisa courts and their surveillance over the course for another 90 days extending and limits of this scandal that is an atrocity against our constitution and the american way of life. Until you gain confidence, the worry, there are legitimate concerns of terrorist and other things that need to be continued on but i have to tell you the court can send a real message to the department of justice by putting handcuffs on people. Instead you have james comey working the media putting out an oped saying he was cleared of anything that was any wrongdoing, how about Holding People accountable that actually sign those things, how about holding the attorney who prepared and altered documents, how about bringing him before the court and throwing him to jail. The court has the ability to do that and are choosing not to do it and it showing a weakness that is an palatable. Are you think it where it should be, is this the deal that the president is going to be satisfied with or is it going to take a lot more . Absolutely, first of all in the usmca, this has been a major priority for the president and making sure that we bring jobs back to the u. S. And i think this will accomplish it and making sure that we have great trading relationships with mexico and canada. On china, President Trump is the first president who has addressed this issue, this has been an issue with republicans and democrats and the president wants to have a level Playing Field and i think phase i is an enormous step in the right direction, we have intellectual Property Protection and Financial Services that are going to be opened up, currency chapter, agricultural structural changes and this is going to be great for our farmers, their buying a lot of goods. Lou importantly, the enforced mechanism within the steel, ambassador lighthizer, the president and you have all talked about that, how strong is the enforcement mechanism in phase i as it stands now. Its very strong, the enforcement chapter is closed down, this is the enforcement chapter that is going to be throughout the entire agreement and it is binding and has a Binding Mechanism and this is the first time we have ever had an agreement with china on the trade front that has a binding enforcement mechanism. Lou it strikes me that this president has done something first of all its a stork but historic achievements are, its a president because this is a president ahead of the International Monetary thought, ahead of the royal bank, any other organization in the country in the world, saying we are going to have balance trade, will have reciprocal trade and he has begun now to Balance International trading relationships with china, usmca and lets not forget the agreement with japan and south korea. This has been a spectacular demonstration of a man leading all the Financial Institutions as well as the regulatory and media areas around the globe. You are 100 correct. The president has been clear, he wants free trade but free and fair and reasonable. In the case of china, our markets have been opened to them, their market enter markets have been not been open to us. The phase one agreement is about rebalancing. Lou use the expression, he wants free trade, i had a discussion with larry kudlow on this, i had never heard the president talk about free trade, ive heard him talk about fair and reciprocal trade, free trade connotes four decades of failure in terms of managing imbalances and it represents 50 years of consecutive trade deficits. I have not heard the expression frankly freetrade for months now, perhaps years until the deal is done and now its starting to be constructive and correct me if im wrong, i freetrade deal i think its more a fair and reciprocal trade deal. I dont think its a freetrade deal, i think this is a reciprocal trade deal. The president has been very clear unreasonable tariffs and reciprocal trade imbalance trade. From the first meeting that we had with president sheehan President Trump, President Trump brought this up and said we need to have balance trade, this has to work in both directions. That was acknowledged by president xi and we been working on it for two years and were seeing the agreement soon and i think people will see this is a real agreement with real chapters in real enforcement.
