But now they come down and it says, 17 down in wisconsin. 17. So i called john. John mcglocklin, he is like the dean. He is a great guy. He has been very good with me. He said we were going to win four years. He said well win easily this one. He is problem i let biggest and the best. I said, john, let me ask you a question, abc Washington Post came out with a poll. It said i was 17 down. Im not 1down. I might be one down or two up but im not 1down. What is going on . Why dont they, they have to live after that. They have to do other events, why dont they make it three or four or two or five, something. He said they cant do that because they want you to lose. If youre two or three or four, everyone will go vote. They want to make sure that your people dont vote. And when you are 17 down, people say i just cant waste my time. Im not going to stand in line. And overall the one income tax New York Times got, he paid 750 in federal taxes. How about you . When he was asked how he could pay so little, remember what he said . He said because im smart. I know how to game the system. Isnt that the kind of guy you want as president . That can game the system, be a billionaire and pay 750 bucks in taxes. While you all break your necks, break your necks and pay a fair share. Were going to have to protect health care by the way. Trump and the republicans, its damn true, their Supreme Court nomination for one basic reason, within a week after the election, theyre going to be before the Supreme Court and this new nominee will be on the court and its all about destroying the care Affordable Care act. Getting rid of it completely. They have been trying to get rid of it for nine years. If they get their way, 100 million americans will lose protections for preexisting conditions. Including five million folks here in ohio. Look, donald care, donald trump doesnt understand health care. He thinks it is a privilege. I think health care is a right. Now he wants to go after the 22 million who have health care only because of the Affordable Care act. I will not only restore the Affordable Care act, i will build on it. To keep, you can keep your private insurance or you can choose a medicarelike public option in the new plan. I will increase subsidies and lower premiums and deductibles, outofpocket expenses and surprise billings. Well reduce drug costs by 60 by allowing medicare to negotiate drug prices for all of us. Folks, folks, it is going to cost more money but guess how i will pay for it . Trump will start paying some taxes. Meanwhile the Social Security personal runs for the Social Security department, says if donald trump plan that he announced if he is reelected will put in place, if in fact it is put in place it would bankrupt Social Security by 2023. This gave really cares a lot about us, doesnt he . He never understands, busting on my parents before me, everyone else, paying into Social Security. So go home and tell your parents or grandparents what a great deal they will get if trump gets reelected. But folks, the fact i will protect Social Security, i guarranty it. Because i got people behind me that make sure it is protected. Were going to protect Social Security and were going to have a situation where guess, what . [horns honking] folks, six generals who worked in the white house with the president of the United States and admirals worked in the administration have since left, they said he is unfit to be commanderinchief. Best of my knowledge, that has never happened before for any president of the United States. [cheering] and that is why special Operations Commander stanley mcchrystal, as well as commander of special ops and the navy seals who took out bin laden, along with bill mccraven, admiral mccraven, 22 other fourstars they endorsed me, saying they would be proud to have me as their commander in chief. [horns honking] this president likes to portray himself as a tough guy, a macho man. When is the last time you saw a president of the United States literally being laughed at by the World Leaders when he spoke at the United Nations . I dont ever recall that ever happening. And can you believe when the president of the United States who acts like Vladmir Putins puppy, putin put bounties own the heads of american soldiers in afghanistan. Trump spoke to him six times and too frightened to challenge him. Why . Donald trump is not strong. Hes weak . This is a president who not only doesnt understand sacrifice, he doesnt understand courage, physical courage. It takes for some of you to put on that uniform. We must support our military and lets make this vote for them as well, god love them. [horns honking] look, we have to meet, we have to moat to meet the challenging of a Climate Crisis as well. We can act to meet that Climate Crisis. Trump calls the Climate Crisis as a hoax. I see it as a great opportunity to improve our health and as well as millions of goodpaying jobs. I see americans working to build and install 500,000 charging stations all across the country. American consumers to switch to clean electric vehicles. We can own the electric vehicle market. Creating millions of jobs here in cleveland, ohio and detroit. Folks, i see the federal government harnessing the purchasing power by buying these electric vehicles, made in america, made in ohio. Made in detroit. Made in america. It is going to mean, one million, according to experts, one million new good paying auto jobs in the Automobile Industry alone. Folks, if we dont act, china will own the market. China will own it all. We will act in addition to delivering Racial Justice in america. [cheering] folks, protesting is not burning and looting. Violence, must never be tolerated and it wont but these protests are a cry for justice. The names of george floyd, breonna taylor, jacob break, blake will soon not be forgotten. I met with all these families. While i met with floyds little girl. I think she is six years old. I knelt down to say to her, be eye level with her. She looked at me, she said, swear to god, mr. Vice president , my daddy is going to change the world. My dad is going to change the world. Folks, im not going to for get, youre not going to forget, this country is not going to forget. This will inspire a new wave of justice in america. But guess what . Because we have the x generation, i mean the z generation, that in fact is the most open, least prejudiced, best educated generation in american history, theyre already moving. Theyre already insisting on justice. They know who we are. A new wave of justice in america, will also, true justice isnt just about how they deal with police. It is about jobs. It is about building wealth. It is about families. It is about education. It us about opportunity. It is about being able to make a decent living. Nobody should have to work two jobs to stay out of poverty. That is why honk if you agree with me, a 15dollar wage should be set nationwide . We are better positioned than any nation in the world to lead the 21st century. Our workers are three times as productive as other workers. Were the biggest economy in the world. We have the Strongest Military in the history of the world. We have the most innovative entrepreneurs in the world and we are virtually energy independent. We have more Great Research universities in america than all of the rest of the world combined out of which all these new inventions have occurred. No other nation can match it. We lead by the example of our power, not just by the power, by the power of our example. The only thing we can, can tear america apart is america itself. And that is exactly what donald trump has tried to do from the beginning of this campaign, divide america. The only way he can win, separate us. Pit americans against one another. Based on race, gender, ethnicity, national origin. Its wrong. Its not who we are but it is his only prospect. Everybody knows who donald trump is. Lets keep showing them who we are. Thank you, North Carolina. Thank you. Go out and vote. Neil the president wrapping things up in fayetteville, North Carolina. He is going to be a busy guy today. After fayetteville he goes on to pennsylvania, michigan, wisconsin, has a couple stops in a couple of those locales, i might point out. Joe biden has a stop a little later on today in pennsylvania, but thats about it. So the frenetic pace the president has set certainly more frenetic than i can ever remember, running for the presidency or any other office. It is what it is and the president is convinced and his people are convinced that he is narrowing the gap in some of those battleground states including North Carolina, which he won last time but various polls have various results. Now, we should also stress that a lot of the trump folks say even in those battleground states, they are within the socalled margin of error, generally 3 to 5 points and they consider that to be trump states. If they are in the margin of error, that means donald trump is really leading. Their argument is theres a strong percentage of folks who will not admit they are supporting the president and are afraid certainly to put signs on their lawn and the like because of all the grief they get for doing so. That did play out four years ago. We will see if it plays out right now. The hill editor in chief with us now and the axios reporter extraordinaire. Elena, this motion about the margin of error being really a trump state, the trump camp premise has been that these polls do not reflect the hidden trump vote. Do you buy that . That if they are within the margin of error, thats a trump state . Its hard to say. I think that the president s campaign is pushing that narrative, especially as we look ahead to tomorrow, election day, but the many ballots that will be counted following election day, we know from our sources within the Trump Campaign and at the white house that they expect the president to do very well tomorrow and they are going to say a lot of that is the silent trump voters as they call them. But they also know that theres going to be a ton of ballots that will be counted especially in places like pennsylvania, where the president is heading there today, joe biden is heading there, as is his Vice President mike pence and senator kamala harris. All of them going there shows how important it is and that is the state that will likely have to count ballots beyond election day. So some of this rhetoric we are hearing that if you are within the margin of error, it is going to go to President Trump is something that they are trying to project so that if the president is doing better tomorrow than it shows, you know, without having counted ballots, its kind of the strategy that they are leaning on so that it shows the president is doing well overall, even before every vote tally enters in. Neil you know, bob, this notion that everything kind of hinges on pennsylvania, the consensus argument always dangerous, you know, to this point about polls you buy and polls you dont buy, that the president needs pennsylvania more than joe biden does. What is your feeling of this . Yeah, i think thats right, neil. The president has to win florida, probably has to win North Carolina and pennsylvania. Thats assuming, again, assumptions were wrong four years ago, that joe biden is going to win michigan and he is up in the polls more significantly than Hillary Clinton, as well as wisconsin. Then there are more paths for joe biden to win, certainly the polls could be wrong like they were in 2015. Joe biden is looking better than Hillary Clinton did four years ago but at the same time, you just never know. The thing that hurts the president , obviously, is covid19 and his disapproval ratings on covid. That is the story of the year. Before covid came along, you would have to call President Trump a favorite. Now, with the election tomorrow, joe biden is the favorite. It doesnt mean hes going to win but hes the favorite. Neil to that point, and covid, where this goes, the spikes in cases especially in some of these battleground states, things have stabilized a little bit for example in North Carolina. They have not really in pennsylvania. But the president now is in allout war, it seems, with dr. Anthony fauci, who also has been much more critical than he has been in the past about the president s handling of this. Clearly the bloom is off that relationship rose, if ever there was one. But isnt that like kind of criticizing babe ruth, say what you will of dr. Fauci and whatever ill will you might have for the guy, hes very popular with the American People and to single him out or to hint that you know what, if i get the white house im going to fire the guy, which has been intimated there on the part of the president to white house insiders, is that a good idea . Its not. Its something that the president s own team is warning him against doing. Its why whenever we have seen the president in public interviews or public settings, he says he might disagree with dr. Fauci but he likes the guy. Its his way of showing that we are really playing to dr. Faucis popularity and it is a big issue with him. Coronavirus is the number one issue that his campaign worries about with the president s performance. They dont think seniors have been really turned off by the president s rhetoric around the coronavirus, particularly after the president had coronavirus himself. His team told axios that they really thought they needed to go after seniors hard. Thats why he spent a lot of time in florida and a lot of these other states on that messaging, because they were turned off by the way that he said, you know, its something you can beat, something we can win on when a lot of people know they arent able to see their family members for the holidays and have to stay home and isolated. Its definitely an area where both the campaign and the white house and people who are in the president s ear are saying, telling him to strike a lighter tone, especially with regard to dr. Fauci, who is, as you said, very popular among americans. Neil you know, bob, we also have learned here that britain is going to implement a nationwide lock down, it will take effect for one month, kind of echoing something that joe biden has had in his back pocket that the president criticized. A lot of democrats are coming out saying Boris Johnson loves you, you are both, you know, separated at the hip in terms of political philosophies and the views, he is responding to the spikes in cases in his country. What are you doing about ours. Does that become an issue at the last minute . What do you think . You know, i think so. Its interesting that both Boris Johnson and the president got covid and they have had different reactions to it. Honestly, i think the president s team could have taken advantage of the dire predictions in the spring of 30 plus unemployment and doing a lot of ads on that. Its something the president talked about, they havent done a lot of ads on really the predictions that did not come true. Obviously cases are on the rise. We are stuck in this mode for awhile. But at the same time, most people dont think the situations Getting Better and thats a problem for the president. Neil i want to thank you both very very much. In the corner of the screen, you are noticing the dow is still up quite a bit, about 288 points. A lot of that was just sort of a snapback reaction from certainly one of the worst weeks of the market going back to march. There are other encouraging developments here, many looking at earnings that take away the forward guidance. By and large, its been pretty good. A lot of people sort of sat back and you know, revised their opinion of how Corporate America is doing as we were trying to study this past weekend on my fox news show, when we were getting into the notion that 8 out of 10 of the companies that have been reporting have beaten estimates. Of that group, more than half by double digits. I think when people just sort of step back from the fire and the fury of the moment, and look at the underlying fundamentals, for at least Corporate America and by and large, the economy with a pickup if n retail sales activi, consumer sentiment, thinking thats not so bad and of course, the gdp report from the Third Quarter which soared more than 33 and people thinking a bounceback was in the making. Of course, it just sort of reversed what was a similar decline in the Second Quarter but most optimistic for the quarter were in. That posits a little where the market stands. Not a great day for technology. I want to get that in. Apple and particularly amazon under, you know, considerable pressure. We will get to that in a second. First, with the ongoing last hours of campaigning, for both the president and the guy who wants to be president , want to join jeff flock in kenosha, wisconsin, where the president will be later today. What are the plans there . Reporter just outside kenosha where that rally will take place, it will be the next to last rally of the campaign for the president. But you know, as you were just talking about with the panel, coronavirus not helping. In this state, wisconsin just had its deadliest month ever in terms of coronavirus, 700 plus people dead last month, worst month, and of course, that building behind me also doesnt help the president. Thats foxconn, remember they were going to spend 10 billion to build a big lcd plant and hire 13,000 people . That has sort of fallen through and kind of stuck in the craw of some of the voters in wisconsin. That leads me to the polls which have not been kind to the president. He hasnt led a major poll here since february but on the positive side, i have to say if we look at the polls last year or last election cycle, 2016, you look at that marquette poll, a big one in wisconsin, lot of people look at that, it had Hillary Clinton up, the last poll that they took, by six points over donald trump. As perhaps you know, the way the election came down was a trump victory. Narrow one, less than a percentage point, but a trump victory. So they are counting on that. I would point out the current marquette poll has biden up by five points which is less than they had hillary up last time. Is the poll better this year, maybe. I also point out that this year, in wisconsin so far, almost two Million People have already cast their vote and last time, a lot of the undecideds broke for trump. Not as many undecideds out there this time. Are the winds of change coming to wisconsin . I dont know. They are certainly coming where i stand here just outside kenosha. Neil . Neil you know, jeff, im curious. I dont know, i have been reading a lot of these internal surveys, polls of the various battleground states where the economy is not the number one issue. The pandemic is. Reporter its coronavirus. Absolutely. Neil right. So how does the president dance on that . That can, you know, one thing you have going for you is the economy and the comeback, certainly since the pandemic as well, but these spikes in cases seem to be rising to the front of all these surveys, you know . Reporter it tends to be an issue thats more important with older voters. Im getting old myself. I tend to be a little more cautious maybe than i was when i was younger. You dont want to die before your time. So i think older voters, you know, i have talked to some that have clearly split with the president on this. They feel like he hasnt taken it seriously enough. In some cases they understand hes trying to put a good face on things. That doesnt help if they are worried. That could be a problem. Neil i hear you. I hear what youre saying. I think you and i should just go on the road. Like talk about older voters. Like a Walter Mathau jack lemon kind of thing. Reporter you would not do well in the wind, i dont think. Neil i would not. I would not. We will see what happens, my friend. Thank you very very much. But that is a good point jeff did make there about how some support among the Older Americans, older voters which the president won last goround, he split about 20 points of that group, in key battleground states, that has picked up. In other words, that has improved from where it was along with latino support, africanamerican support. We just wont be able to know how much or to what degree or how much it tips the balance of polls right now that look different than certainly how the president feels things are going. On that end, i want to go to connell mcshane. He has been going through all these battleground states and well beyond. Pennsylvania is a crucial state. You keep hearing it again and again. It looks very representative of the issues that are paramount in that entire state. Whats the latest . Connell well, to pick up on what you were talking about with jeff, the president is polling a little better in this state with older voters than he was in florida when we were there. One of the reasons why, hes trying to make an economic argument to the voters here in pennsylvania. He keeps harping on that fracking issue after the last debate when joe biden talked about transitioning from the oil industry. As a matter of fact, we spent part of the weekend in the mountains near williamsport, pennsylvania. There, fracking has changed the local economic landscape over the last decade or so. You have companies coming in like seneca resources, they say their impact is not just in the process of extracting the natural gas from the mountain rock. Take a listen. Sources will purchase approximately 50 million worth of goods and services per rig that we are running in the area. Now, if you are picking up fuel or picking up food or picking up aggregate to build a pad, youre not bringing that in from out of state. This money is being spread throughout the economy here locally. Connell that local economic impact, we saw it in speaking to somebody like sandy spencer. She works for appalachian construction services. Thats involved in the business they call the midstream process of transporting the gas to its final location. Have no projects to do. We cant pay for those workers to come in and do it. It definitely does, i mean, the restaurants, the hotels, theres a big effect all across the board. Connell yeah. That kind of knockon effect, you hear the president talking about it all the time at his rallies. I want to be clear about one thing. The president exaggerates the numbers when he talks about the potential impact. He will often say that 900,000 or a million jobs are at stake. The industry directly employs somewhere between 20,000 and 30,000 in the state. There was one study that showed if there was an outright fracking ban, 600,000 jobs might be lost. Nowhere near a million. That said, in this state, so close, any little movement, as you know, could have a big impact. To go back to where you started, luzerne county, where we are today, what a huge effect it had the last time around. The president was able to bring over a lot of old democrats, union democrats, win them over. He won the county by 26,000 votes. Only won the state by 44,000. So it was like 60 of his statewide margin. He will try to repeat that. One of his events later today is at the airport near here. The Biden Campaign realizes this. They are trying to cut into the margin. Kamala harris will be campaigning in this county as well and already has been here on this final day of the campaign. Neil . Neil how will it go there . They have three days after the election to count all the votes up, so is it fair to say that we just wont know pennsylvania tomorrow night . We just wont know . Connell it probably is. Even the local officials here fire engine going by, its going to be loud for a second, in the town square even the local officials will tell you they probably wont get it counted up until friday. Both campaigns, i think this is fair, will say you know, if we are going to have an early night its probably because joe biden wins say in florida or wins North Carolina, arizona. If the president wins those states, thats the situation where everybody seems to agree you have a longer night because i should say North Carolina as well probably going to take awhile but definitely here in pennsylvania, you have two million plus that have voted early. Not as many as some of the other battlegrounds states but still, a number of early votes. They cant start counting them until after the polls close. Thats going to take probably until friday. Neil all right. Connell, thank you very very much. Connell mcshane on all of that. All this early voting, the impact of that with ken blackwell, former ohio secretary of state, former cincinnati mayor, former Trump Transition Team member. Ken, i was looking at all the early voting figures and they are staggering, i think when all is said and done maybe by tomorrow, more than 100 million will have done so, cast their ballots already. So the president is making a concerted effort to win over those who havent done so yet. But does it make his job doubly difficult that so Many Americans have already decided . No, it doesnt, neil. Because you know, too many people think that the Republican National committee, the Trump Campaign and a variety of grassroots groups didnt encourage their voters, trump voters, to bank their votes early. I think youre going to be surprised at another thing. There are a number of democrats who showed up at trump rallies who, in fact, didnt change their registration but cast their vote for President Trump. Neil oh, thats interesting. Thats interesting. This idea that twothirds of that vote, thats very important to clarify here, i rudely un interrupted you, those are democratic ballots being returned, to your point, but you dont think they are all votes for joe biden. Absolutely not. You know, whether you are talking about ohio, pennsylvania, wisconsin, those you have a lot of democrats who are not registered republicans who, in fact, have voted for trump, whether its on neighborhood safety, whether its on against bidens attack on fracking and Americas Energy independence. So believe me, we used to talk about reagan democrats. There are many more trump democrats. Hes actually realigned the Republican Party. That is going to be evident when all the votes are counted. But let me tell you, neil, what i think is at stake here, because i heard your previous interviews in terms of the Health Situation and the challenge of covid versus the recovery economically. This is coming down to, i have studied this for a very long time, this is going to be a chamberlainchurchill choice. Will more americans choose trump who has, in fact, embraced recovery and is driving us towards morning in america again or will they go with biden who has embraced a dark winter. This is coming down to a leadership issue. I think thats going to be very important and its going to be decisive. Neil well see what happens. I will put you down as a maybe on joe biden. As unprecedented as it is, it was down 500 points or close to it so its halved a little bit. Jonathan hoenig, what do you make of it . Its good to see some bounceback but if you look underneath the surface, underneath the hood, you still see a lot of legitimate falling knives in the market. The shortterm momentum remains really weak. Im seeing almost 32 of stocks above their 50day moving average. Its a short way of saying the market by and large is very weak. For the first time in the last couple of days, we have started to see this pattern of more 52week lows than 52week highs and the culprit, neil, the culprit is really one word. That is technology. Look at today. Microsoft, facebook, apple, dragging technology down, almost to the lows of last week in just the last few minutes. It doesnt help those stocks, from my perspective, that the president was accusing big tech of committing Campaign Violation in just the last few minutes, but theres certainly a lot of fear about the election. We are seeing stocks, bonds and gold all move in correlation these last couple days. Lot of fear about the election. Thats why you are starting to see a lot of big tech which had led the market higher moving the market lower these last few days. Neil on the tech side, you think its overdone . Or is it even with the fallout we have seen through the last week and a half, even into today, its still up a lot. What do you think is really going on there . Well, i look to history and we think back, its 20 years now but the same type of antitrust accusations against microsoft. Now, microsoft certainly didnt go out of business, but the stock was basically a laggard for the better part of 10 or 12 years. Theres no assurance that thats going to happen to twitter or facebook or microsoft, any of those stocks that are kind of in the target this time around, but i think it certainly makes one cautious to be an investor when you know that government is going after a particular sector. It makes it much harder to invest longer term. So you know, especially shortterm with the election, we will be covering it all day and night here on fox business, is that if theres any type of social unrest, if theres any type of delayed result, i think you could potentially see a sharp selloff in stocks. I dont want that to happen. Im not predicting that happens. But more than any other time, i think this market is on edge, given the extension of the fundamentals and given the weakness we have seen in the last couple of days in a lot of big name tech. Neil real quick, i want to bullet through a couple scenarios. Im not married to one or the other. These are popular scenarios. Joe biden wins, takes the senate with him, so its a democratic sweep. Markets respond how . Im going to Say Something you probably dont hear a lot on your show. I dont know. Its really difficult to predict in the short term. Look, its never the Political Party which determines the Market Performance over the long term. Its the policies. We know that higher taxes, more regulation, that leads to detrimental and worse off economic results. But short term in terms of what happens wednesday morning, listen, youll have to tune in to fox news to find out. It will be news to all of us as it happens. Neil but another one is split government. Markets historically have liked split governments. The white house under one party and the house and or senate under another. If there were to be a biden win, would a Republican Senate hold him back or for that matter, a trump win with a Democratic Senate potentially holding him back . I guess it depends on the moment and the issues being pounded, right . Sure, neil. Although you are pointing out historically if you want to go by the numbers, the best market result has been exactly as you are describing, a split government. Democrat president , for example, and Republican Senate. Thats historically, and it kind of gives the hat tip, if you will, to the brilliance of the founders of this country who didnt make it a true democracy in the sense of majority rule. It is a Constitutional Republic with various sorts of checks and balances. Dont sell this country short. No matter which side of the political aisle you are on, i think the beauty of this country, the brilliance of this country is Strong Enough to survive any Political Party in the next four years. Dont bet against america. I dont think that ever serves anyone well in the long term. Thats the best advice i can give in just a couple hours before we really start to cast election votes for good. Neil you know, you are young enough to be my son but that was very profound comments there. You are exactly right. One of the Biggest Challenges for some of the supervise or of elections offices in the state of florida has been the sheer volume of this historic early voting season, so many envelopes with mailin ballots that have been coming in every single day. Its been a historic year. By the end of tomorrow night, very likely we will have topped nine million early votes. Theres only about 11 or maybe 12, probably around 11 million votes in total expected in this election. All 67 supervisor of elections offices every day over the past two weeks has been pretty much like this. Opening envelopes, scanning the mailin ballot and saving them for Election Night, and thats what they have been doing every single day. Voters who requested mail ballots and due to coronavirus this year, theres been a big increase in the number of people choosing to vote that way, they still have the opportunity today to come and drop off those sealed envelopes into the ballot box in person. A lot of people here have been doing that. This year in florida, 30 of the people who received a mailin ballot at their home decided not to mail it back but to come drop it off in person and not rely on the postal service. One possible reason, that room of the Mail Distribution Center in Miamidade County revealed over the weekend, stacks and shelves of mail that allegedly had been sitting there for a whole week. That included 48 ballots amongst the pile. So on Election Night at 7 00 p. M. , all the early voting numbers that are all being saved, they will be dumped into the computer all at once so we should have a big dump of all those results very early in the night, probably by 7 30. The rest of the night at each supervisor of Election Office will be dealing with all of the votes of tomorrow and processing those. The states big six counties, hillsborough, tampa, duval county, jacksonville and broward county, fort lauderdale, they all report being totally up to speed by the end of each day with all the mailin ballots they had received. However, the other three big florida counties that includes pinellas, Orange County and miami county, they have so much mail they have been a day or two behind. Today is a big try to catch up day. So i actually did see them yesterday and of course, we were prayerful. I dont always agree with my cousins but many people admire reverend dr. So how are the big investment houses preparing for i guess whatever happens tomorrow, not that we necessarily will know tomorrow, but Charlie Gasparino has some interesting info he wants to pass along right now. Then i would like to ask you a couple of scenario questions about how the election could turn out. First, on what youre hearing from the big guys. Charlie well, volatility is clearly something everybody is planning for and the scenario on what massive volatility in stocks being sold off or maybe bought in the Options Market is pennsylvania. Thats a key state. If trump wins a lot of what he won last time, it could be up to pennsylvania. We might not know about pennsylvania for a couple days. So thats key. That could really have a lot of market volatility and all the trading desks are planning for this, neil. They do this every year. Wall street game plans various scenarios but given early voting and the sort of mailin voting, the fact is that the scenario that pennsylvania, which is a key state, may not be in for several days, along with michigan, from what i understand, is something that has wall street firms on edge and they are game planning it. Couple other things were hearing. People are also game planning for if donald trump contests the election. A lot of republican advisers say theres a good chance hes going to contest the election if its close. Biden advisers are telling wall street that, this is what they are telling the street, im not saying i agree with them, if they can get the house and the senate, excuse me, get the senate and the presidency, its a win win for the markets. So thats why you see a lot of wall street money going into the Biden Campaign. They are convinced that if biden wins even though hes going to raise taxes, hes going to spend 2 trillion and thats going to be good for the economy, good for stocks. Thats why there is some buying going on here. One of the interesting things is there have been lots of reports about Elizabeth Warren possibly becoming bidens treasury secretary. Every democratic adviser to biden on wall street i talk to say that is not going to happen, that lets not say not, highly unlikely. They do not want to roil bank stocks. If progressives are going to get stuff in this new administration, from what i understand, its going to be in the Labor Department and some other of those Small Business administration, some of those other things. I dont think they want to screw up the markets going into this, with having Elizabeth Warren, someone who is, you know a class warfare person who can really screw up bank stocks in particular. Neil yeah. All right. Well, lets go through all the more prominent, you know, possibilities. One, a biden sweep. He wins and takes the senate with him. Then what . Charlie well, heres the thing. Goldman sachs is actually predicting that. I can tell you that they were on calls this morning with major Institutional Investor clients. What theyre looking at is this. Theyre looking at that biden basically wins, they say hes ahead enough now that even if you factor in the error rate of 2016, he should still win and win the states that matter to put him over the edge. If he does that, theres a good chance, according to goldman, that they pick up the senate. Thats what goldmans saying. Now, obviously theres poll tightening here and heres the one thing i will tell you, when you talk to political people, you know, lobbyists who follow this, if donald trump made one huge mistake in this whole election, was not performing better in that first debate because when he started neil i just want to go, there are a couple other scenarios real quick. The president wins, senate stays republican. What . Charlie divided government. In the shortterm, markets could trade off because you are not going to get that stimulus, right . But longterm, as you know, neil, if when we have divided government even under obama neil final scenario, sorry, my friend, a trump sweep. Even the house changes, everyone goes republican. Then what . Charlie markets longterm will outperform. We are not going to get tax increases. We are not going to get the massive spending. Bond markets should recover. By the way.
