Now that Democrats control both chambers of Congress and the White House, there's a new push on Capitol Hill to hike the federal minimum wage. Under the "Raise the Wage Act," the national minimum wage would increase from $7.25 an hour to $15 an hour by 2025. The last time it went up? Nearly 11-and-a-half years ago, in July of 2009.
