The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Friday, March 5, in memory of UNO student Jake Redding. Jake passed away on Feb. 2 at the age of 22. He was a student in the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences studying pre-elementary education. He is survived by his mother, Alison Dudley (James Baumguard); father, Justin Redding (Tina); sisters Carmen and Natalie; grandparents Ed and Jenny Dudley, and Jim and Anne Redding; aunts and uncles; his great grandmother; cousins; and many other loving family members including his dog Irv. A memorial service for Jake was held on Feb. 9. Those wishing to provide memorials are suggested to send them to the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church or to the Nebraska Humane Society.
