By Joel Malkin More people are getting back to work in Florida. Adrienne Johnston at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity says the December unemployment rate fell two-tenths of a point to 6.1 percent. "The West Palm Beach-Boca Raton-Delray Beach metro area gained the most jobs with 6,900 and Panama City grew the fastest, at a rate of 1.5 percent." The state added 21,000 jobs during the month while the labor force grew by 31,000. Johnston pointed to what she considers to be a healthy sign for Florida's economy. "What's really important is we're seeing our labor force grow at the same time we're seeing our unemployment rate decline."
