Jeff Goodman of Stadium reported that the decision for Cross to leave was made by Miami, not Cross. No reason has been given yet. Cross started in nine of the 14 games he appeared in for the Hurricanes, averaging 6.9 points and 3.5 rebounds in 26.4 minutes per game. He also made 45% of his field goals, including 40% from behind the 3-point line.
