Former Recology exec agrees to plead guilty, cooperate in City Hall corruption probe

SAN FRANCISCO - A former executive with Recology -- the company contracted by San Francisco to handle waste collection -- has agreed to plead guilty and cooperate with federal investigators looking into corruption at City Hall, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced Wednesday.
Paul Giusti, 65, Recology's former government and community relations manager for its San Francisco group, had initially been charged with bribery and money laundering last November for allegedly bribing former San Francisco Department of Public Works director Mohammed Nuru.
