He has done it before, and he's doing it again. After six months of grinding and grueling work as a recruit, former 5th Judicial Circuit State Attorney Brad King graduated from the Florida Basic Recruit Academy, which is part of the College of Central Florida's Criminal Justice Institute, on Tuesday. He went back to recruit school – his first stint was more than 40 years ago – because his next career move is either to teach at the academy or become a school resource officer. "I wanted to still be involved. I want to give something back to the system," King said during a telephone interview on Wednesday.
