York Daily Record In Michael Lopatic Sr.'s two-story home in a quiet neighborhood outside of Lancaster, a storm seemed to be brewing for the unemployed former Marine prior to Jan. 6. He posted photos on social media of dead pheasants, naming them after Democratic leaders, and on Jan. 1, five days before the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, he posted this on social media, according to the FBI: “ASSEMBLE ON THE CAPITAL JANUARY 6, 2021. UNITED WE STAND, GO FORTH AND WE FIGHT.” He did fight, joining hundreds at the Capitol, according to the FBI, committing acts so egregious that the Department of Justice fought for his immediate imprisonment after his Feb. 3 arrest, and that’s where the 57-year-old husband and father remains.
