If you’ve been on the internet in recent days, you’ve probably heard about a little company called GameStop, that has quite literally taken over the stock market this week thanks to douchey Reddit finance bros, Elon Musk and, well, memes. At the time of publishing, GameStop shares are selling for $347.51USD each, up from $17.25USD at the start of January. That’s an increase of nearly 1,700% year-to-date and we’re not even out of January yet.
