Genesis investing $45 million, creating 200+ jobs with new hospital
Coshocton Regional Medical Center says it is dedicated to and will continue to serve the community
COSHOCTON — Genesis HealthCare System based in Zanesville will offer a new hospital alternative to Coshocton County residents in early 2023.
The Genesis Coshocton Medical Center represents a $45 million investment in the local community and is targeted to create more than 200 jobs. Matthew Perry, Genesis president and CEO, said most of those workers will come from Coshocton County. He said about 150 residents of Coshocton County work at the main campus in Zanesville and he could see many of them transferring to the new facility.
