Ghaziabad: In a major operation by a team of Vigilance department officials from Meerut, a junior engineer of the Ghaziabad Jal Nigam has been arrested for taking Rs 13 lakh bribe. The accused has been identified as Vikram Singh, who lives in Ghaziabad. Jal Nigam had given a contract of Rs 3.6 cr to a contractor identified as Satish Kumar to remove silt from a water pipeline in Muradnagar to Delhi.
