Guernsey County discusses service options with OMEGA leader

Guernsey County commissioners met with representatives from the Ohio Mid-Eastern Governments Association to discuss services offered in OMEGA's 10-county service area this week.
Executive Director Jeannette Wierzbicki and Communications Manager Kennedy Webb recapped OMEGA's activities in 2020 and highlighted future county and municipal services.
"It was a good exchange," said Commissioner Dave Wilson. "It was especially helpful for our newest commissioner, Jack Marlin, to learn what types of services OMEGA offers the county."
Wilson said the two groups discussed how OMEGA could help the county with future water and sewer system improvements, although no specific plans were discussed.
