Get our free mobile app It's with Teacher Appreciation Week ( May 3rd- May 7th) just ahead and the end of school in mind that we want to feature a news story shared throughout the Crossroads of Vicker's Elementary School being nominated and awarded as one of 50 stops on the H.E.B's Excellence in Education, Texas Loves Teachers Tour! It's the 20th anniversary of the Texas Love Teachers event and it kicked off in March, with the plan to tour 50 schools in 50 days throughout Texas giving away $20,000 in cash and prizes to school employees as well as hosting an appreciation event for each school that is visited along the way.
