The beloved owner of the Yardville Carvel ice cream shop was honored on Friday by Governor Phil Murphy during his weekly coronavirus briefing. Murphy noted that Nelson and his wife, Leslie, came to the United States in 1978 from Taiwan with an American Dream to own his own business. The Changs moved to Hamilton 35 years ago. Nelson and Leslie were married for 43 years.
