Hampshire sentencing set next week Scott Cousins, scousins@thetelegraph.com FacebookTwitterEmail Hampshire EDWARDSVILLE — Sentencing for an Alton woman who has pleaded guilty in the death of her 14-year-old daughter from diabetes is set for next week. Amber Hampshire pleaded guilty to one count of involuntary manslaughter in early October. In exchange for her plea, a count of endangering the life and health of a child was dropped. She has been free on bail since the plea was accepted. Sentencing has been delayed several times and is now set for 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 11 in the Madison County Criminal Justice Center before Circuit Judge Kyle Napp.
