HCRHP looking forward to return of annual dinner and auction

HOPEDALE — Because of COVID-19 shutdowns and protocols, the 2020 installment of the Harrison Coal and Reclamation Historical Park Inc. annual dinner and auction had to be canceled.
“But we are back in force this year,” notes Claren Blackburn, spokesperson.
The dinner and auction will be held May 8 at the Hopedale Social Hall, 103 Firehouse Lane. Doors open at 4 p.m. with dinner at 5 p.m, then a brief program and the induction of officers.
The auction will begin around 7 p.m.
The buffet dinner will include fried chicken, beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, noodles, salads and desert. Mixed and soft drinks will be available.
