Hobby trainer Alex Malliff
Mareeba hobby trainer Alex Malliff is a big fan of highly rated rival Tennessee Boy but is confident his promising sprinter Cleaver Greene can win another round at Cairns on Tuesday.
Malliff works as a plumber for the Mackay Shire Council and is looking forward to Cleaver Greene clashing with the Roy Chillemi-trained Tennessee Boy in the QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap over 950 metres.
Malliff has only a small team of eight horses in work and rates Cleaver Greene as one of the best horses he’s ever trained.
