bringing that snow already across parts of the great lakes and ahead of it where temperatures are still too warm for snow. years of rain are stretching for vermont into western portions of massachusetts, connecticut and new york city and philadelphia area. so it's going to remain slightly unsettled the rest of tonight and as the system pulls into parts of eastern canada and further off to the west and take a look at snow coming down, lake effect snow across western parts of michigan, expecting a foot or more of snow and there are a number of winter storm advisories across parts of the great lakes and even as far southeast as west virginia, and also western parts of north carolina and we could be looking at a few inches of snow, but the worst is where we have our blizzard warning in effect across the u.p. of michigan and talking wind gusts up to 40, 50 miles per hour and heavy snow and very low visibility, so the worst of it should be tonight, overnight and into monday evening and this is going to be a prolonged period of heavy snow for those of you headed back to work tomorrow.
