Call of Duty Vanguard Review: Big on Cinema, Short on Play

Call of Duty Vanguard review: single-player campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies all suffer from the consequences of their lofty intentions. The campaign burns too much fuel in introducing its four prime characters and wraps up the epic before it can get going. Vanguard multiplayer offers an expansive world, new game modes, and a new form of matchmaking that should get CoD loyalists intrigued. But it unscrews a few things in the process that does not quite match up to last year’s Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War. Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies mode is a promise that is yet to take shape.
