Thrashed 5-2 and 5-0 respectively by Germany and the Netherlands last month, the Matildas will have to improve to test the Swedes, who won a silver medal at the Rio Olympics five years ago and finished third at the 2019 Women's World Cup. The June 16 battle will be an early preview of what the Matildas can expect in Tokyo come July, with Sweden in Australia's group along with the United States and New Zealand.
