Ladies and gentlemen, As you commemorate the Anfal genocide campaigns in which over 182,000 Kurdish people were brutally massacred by Saddam Hussein’s regime, I join you, on behalf of World Tamil Co-ordinating Committee in paying tribute to our Kurdish brothers and sisters who lost their lives, or to be more precise, whose lives were forcibly taken away.
