Hundreds gather for Cuban freedom rally in Sandy Springs

Around 400 people rallied in Sandy Springs Sunday to show their support for the people of Cuba.
The Cuba Libre rally was held in front of Cubanos ATL restaurant.

Members of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly of Georgia and the Georgia Republican Party hosted the event, where people spoke out against Cuba’s communist regime.
Organizers say thousands in Cuba are desperate for food and water amid widespread protests in the nation as citizens fight for their freedom.
“The government is fully in control of food and water. They will stop supply of food and water and they are going to stop the people,” said Ross Osaba, the son of Cuban immigrants living in Brookhaven.
