A Scottish influencer has been praised for proving that you can create 'inspiring content' in the UK rather than flying to Dubai during the pandemic. Lauren Faulkner, 22, last night donated treats to a food van in Edinburgh run by non-profit Steps to Hope, which helps the homeless and those suffering with addiction. During her visit she attended a meeting with those who have been helped by the charity, and has since arranged a raffle for her Instagram followers to raise money for the organisation. She received floods of comments on social media, hailing the influencer 'amazing', and saying her work proves that going abroad is not the only way to make quality content during the pandemic.
