Iowa City, University of Iowa flutist performs with the U.S. Marine Band at Joe Biden's inauguration ceremony

Gunnery Sgt. Kara Santos, a flutist in the U.S. Marine Band and a graduate of Iowa City West High and the University of Iowa's Graduate College, performed several songs throughout the ceremony as President Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th president.
"I am feeling excited," she told the Press-Citizen Tuesday. "The band is well-prepared.
"We've been supporting inaugurations for many many years, and I'm excited to be a participant in this one."
