​​​​​​​The co-chair of the Commanding Committee of the Kurdistan Communities Union, KCK, Jamil Bayik, said that Turkey is waiting for the opportunity to occupy and annex more Syrian lands, as it did in Sanjak of Alexandretta, confirming that they support the unity of Syria, and grant the Kurds autonomy and democracy in their areas, noting that to the necessity to protect the Kurdish Arab alliance.
