JoJo Siwa’s take on coming out According to CNN, the YouTube personality asserted, “It's not something I'm ashamed of” adding, I just haven't shown the internet yet.” A large number of her fans believed that the ‘Dance Moms’ alum identified herself as a member of the LGBTQ+ community when she sparked speculations back in January 2021 with her TikTok video. She was seen lip-syncing to Lady Gaga’s ‘Born this Way’. She crooned, "No matter gay, straight, or bi, / Lesbian, transgender life / I'm on the right track baby / I was born to survive.” JoJo also revealed she was aware that coming out could be a very scary thing. She said, “Of course not everybody in the world is going to accept it right now, but there are so many people that are going to accept it right now. And like I say, even if there's a million people that don't accept it, there's a hundred million that do.” JoJo in her interview also admitted that it was a big risk to come out. “But if I lost everything that I’ve created because of being myself and who I wanna love, I don’t want it.”
