It represents essentially a scale railroad that runs from stockman to portland. The railroad is filled with small towns, big terrain, and details so accurate youd think someone shrunk a slice of rural america. We have operating light signals, for example, and the idea is to be able to show the public how a real railroad works. The club is operated in this building since 1970. John rogers has been a member since even before it found its permanent home. Weve been working on building and fine tuning this layout ever since then. So were coming up on 48 years now. But if the operators of the fairgrounds have their way, there will be no 49th year for the railroad here. Now, taking you there this timeline monday about 2 30 in the morning, San Francisco, same with the north bay, napa, we can expect to see pockets of heavier downpours, which means that rain will be consistent and it will kind of linger throughout the overnight. As we head into tomorrow we could be seeing more accumulation later on. 5 30 in the morning, well see more showers breaking apart. But if i take you through wednesday and thursday, thats when were expecting to see a much better formed storm with more, you know, of a cold front in the way, and thats going to bring more snow to the Higher Elevation and even lower elevation areas as well.
